The journey so far this year has been full of surprises
After the deluge, and even before. The water was always very drinkable.
So
we danced and sung and did Yoga and
played with our chakras until the bright shinny disk had disappeared under and the moon rose full and awesome in the darkening sky
Whatever rumors you might have heard or seen, we are safe and sound on a hill somewhere near Gloucester with plenty of spring water fed through pipes from a local spring water works. But don't miss, the best is yet to come.

(A48) Gloucester to Chepstow
Please Note: Site ‘Chaxhill’ on the Gloucester side of ‘Westbury - on - Severn’
Car or van from Gloucester: Take the road signed 'Ross-on-Wye' turn left onto the (A48) Chepstow road for about 7 miles. Go through the village ‘Chaxhill’ next you will come to a down hill with a bend to the right at the bottom - take the next left into Rodley Road and follow the RAINBOW signs field on the left after approx. 1.5 miles.
From Gloucester:
By Car this way maybe easier with large trailer: Take the road signed 'Ross-on-Wye' turn left onto the (A48) Chepstow road for about 7 miles. Go through the village ‘Chaxhill’ until you see a garage on the left, take the next turn on the left after the garage (signed Bollow 1 and Rodley 2) into ‘Rock and Fountain Lane’ follow the lane ignore Westbury turn off - bear right at triangle island junction into Upper Rodley Road ( unsigned ) right turn/ bend by sign for Rodley Court Road on wall ahead. Into Rodley Road until sign for Rainbow Camp on the right.
Car or van from Chepstow: Take the road signed Gloucester (A48) for about 16 miles until you come to a railway bridge just before 'Newnham-on-Severn', go straight through the town under a 2nd. railway bridge go passed Elton garage on the left, you will go under a 3rd. railway bridge and into the village Westbury - on - Severn go through the village. Take the next right into Rodley Road and follow the RAINBOW signs field on the left after approx 1.5 miles.
From Chepstow:
By Car this way maybe easier with large trailer Take the road signed Gloucester (A48) for about 16 miles until you come to a railway bridge just before 'Newnham-on-Severn', go straight through the town under a 2nd. railway bridge go passed Elton garage on the left, you will go under a 3rd. railway bridge and into the village Westbury - on - Severn go through the village. The road takes a sharp bend to the left. Take the 3rd. turn on the right (signed Bollow 1 and Rodley 2) it,s just after the sign ‘Chaxhill’ into ‘Rock and Fountain Lane’ follow the lane ignore Westbury turn off - bear right at triangle island junction into Upper Rodley Road ( unsigned ) right turn by sign for Rodley Court Road on wall ahead into Rodley Road until sign for SuperSpirt Camp on the right.
By Train or Bus:
Go to Gloucester: train or bus station. The Bus Station is just across the traffic lights from the Train Station. Busses No. 31, and 73, * the service is hourly at 35 min's past. The first bus is at 7:35 am then 9:35 am after that 35 min's past each hour until 6:35 p.m.. Ask the driver to take you to Westbury Village Hall or Rodley Road. The last leg is by taxi or a 1.5 mile walk down Rodley Road or wait for a lift from someone going to the camp there should be frequent cars taking this route * The bus service might have changed, please call the Gloucester Stagecoach (01452-527516) for bus time update.
